Adjunct instructor needed to teach an online course in the Fall 2017 semester , to students in the online Building Construction Management program.
The course covers the planning and scheduling process before and during Construction. Microsoft PROJECT is used to teach the course content.
Applicants must have taught in an online modality at the College level for at least one year (2 semesters), hold a minimum of a Bachelors degree in Construction Management from a US accredited program, and demonstrated five years in a supervisory capacity in US Construction Management in a commercial setting. Proficiency in building courses in a LMS (Learning Management System) such as Blackboard, Moodle, WebCT is required.
Candidates selected to be interviewed will be given access to a D2L shell for their use to load up course material. The candidate will be expected to,as part of the interview process, demonstrate their familiarity with D2L.

Adjunct faculty must develop instructional methods for their assigned course(s). The instructional methods must pertain to the course(s) learning outcomes and course catalog description.

Experience with D2L/Brightspace is preferred.

PA Act 15 Clearances
As a requirement for this position, you are expected to provide current copies of the following: Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance, Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Record Check, and Federal Bureau of Investigation Criminal Background Check prior to your first day of employment. These must have been obtained within the last 60 months and for the purpose of employment (not volunteer). You may submit current copies of your clearances to the Office of Human Resources at the time an offer of employment is made.
