Duties

Provides instruction in public and corporate non-credit CNC and Machining Training.

Classification DescriptionList the broad major functions of the position.

Provides instruction and student support for assigned classes.
Performs tasks designed to ensure the quality and consistency of instruction.

Adjunct faculty must develop instructional methods for their assigned course(s). The instructional methods must pertain to the course(s) learning outcomes and course description. Subject matter includes knowledge of Manual machining, lathe and milling, print reading, math and measurement, safety, Solidworks, Concept of Lean, CNC lathe and mills, and all aspects of milling and CNC work.
Ability to conduct theory and hands on curriculum.

Minimum Qualifications

Prior experience in the Machining and CNC arena.

Prior experience in adult learning environments (may include training conducted on the job).

Qualifications: Preferred Experience

5 or more years of experience in a machining CNC, Milling environment.

In-depth knowledge of Solidworks and MasterCAM as well as print reading, math and measurement, inspection and all the various equipment.

PA Act 15 Clearances

As a requirement for this position, you are expected to provide current copies of the following: Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance, Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Record Check, and Federal Bureau of Investigation Criminal Background Check prior to your first day of employment. These must have been obtained within the last 60 months and for the purpose of employment (not volunteer). You may submit current copies of your clearances to the Office of Human Resources at the time an offer of employment is made.
