The Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) Department at HACC is seeking to fill two part-time specialist positions – one focused on project management and one focused on student recruitment and student success. Candidates may apply for one or both positions.

The person in either position will join a team of professionals that support HACC employees in achieving the College’s mission of creating opportunities and transforming lives to shape the future – TOGETHER. The person will assist the team with market research, advertising, project management and content writing for target audiences, including but not limited to: alumni, current students, employees, future students and board members.

The IMC specialist for project management performs highly detailed project management-related tasks that impact the entire College. He or she is essential in responding to and addressing questions from HACC colleagues on behalf of the IMC Department.
The IMC specialist for student recruitment and student success assists with managing and creating marketing materials. He or she is essential in helping the College reach short-term and long-term strategic enrollment goals.

Minimum Qualifications

Associate degree and 3 years experience.
Or a combination of experience and education sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.

Job Specific Task List

The IMC specialist for project management will:
-Use project management software and tools to process communications and marketing requests (60%)
-Respond to inquiries regarding projects (25%)
-Perform other duties as assigned (8%)
-Distribute project surveys and prepare project reports (5%)
-Attend and assist with both Commencement ceremonies each year (2%)

The IMC specialist for student recruitment and student success will:
-Develop tactics for integrated marketing communications plans (50%)
-Assist with market research and content writing (20%)
-Assist with social media campaigns (15%)
-Attend and assist with both Commencement ceremonies each year (10%)
-Perform other duties as assigned (5%)

Physical Requirements

Positions in this class typically require: grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions.

Sedentary Work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.
