Performs WorkKeys testing functions off site and on site. Functions include, the deployment of assessments, authorizing tests, helping examinees launch their tests, monitoring examinees and making accommodations as needed to each examinee. Accommodations may include any combination of extra time, limited distractions, reader, oral proctor, scribe, enlarged tests. Manages/ Assists with record keeping, and reporting.

Minimum Qualifications

Associate’s Degree and 2 years of experience. Or a combination of experience and education sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job. Such as those listed above.

Job Specific Task List

1. Deploy and proctor assessments as assigned
2. Learn codes and consoles and procedures to run WorkKeys and deploy assessments
3. Complete proctor quarterly Web-inar on how to launch, learn updates and how to manage testing rooms
4. Attend training and briefing sessions conducted locally by the site administrator/WorkKeys Coordinator or by ACT.
5. Help admit examinees and make attendance/ID on the roster
6. Direct Examinees to assigned seats
7. Walk around the room during testing to assist with any technical issues and to observe examinee behavior
8. Report any irregularities to Site Administrator/ WorkKeys Coordinator immediately
9. Accompany examinees to the restroom if more than one examinee is allowed to leave during tests
10. Responsible for test room and for providing an environment conductive to testing
11. Collecting and Accounting for all equipment, paper and tools used during testing
12. Have access to console and register examinees prior to testing sessions
13. Maintain strict confidentiality with examinee scores and situations
14. Handles other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

Positions in this class typically require: grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions.

Sedentary Work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.
